House Rules

Southport Comedy Festival is a customer focused entertainment event. We believe that comedy comes first and is best enjoyed by a respectful audience. Please note the following:-

Anyone who we consider is persistently disrupting the performance in any way will be asked to leave without a refund.

Ticket Sales

Tickets for Southport Comedy Festival shows are available from Skiddle online from this website 24 hours a day.

We operate a print-at-home system so you will be able to run your tickets off from your confirmation email. There is a booking fee applied to all tickets. There is no booking fee for tickets bought direct from the venues. Please note that not every venue has tickets for sale. See the website booking page for information about venue ticket sales.

When you give us your email we will place it on our mailing list so that we can keep you informed of all the great comedy we have in and around Southport as well as local productions by Big Comedy UK. Every mailing will have a link to unsubscribe should you not wish to receive this information. We will never give or sell your email address to anyone else.

We can’t offer any refunds or exchanges unless the event has been cancelled or postponed. Please check your booking thoroughly before confirming the payment because once it has gone through, the tickets are yours.

We never advertise events or performers unless a firm booking has been made with the appropriate agents/performers. Due to unforeseen operational problems it may sometimes be impossible to present the advertised acts. This can be due to many reasons including sickness, travel disruption etc. We reserve the right to provide as near as possible replacement comedians and the show will go on.

Accessibility

Southport Comedy Festival uses a number of local venues, theatres, hotels, restaurants, etc for its shows.

All venue seating is unreserved, if you have any special requirements please contact us via the website in advance and we will do our utmost to accommodate you. We regret that accessible seating for people with disabilities is limited in some venues. Please contact us before purchasing your ticket to ensure your needs can be accommodated. You can open a contact form by clicking here

The Comedy Pub Crawls involve travelling as a group on foot between pre-selected "mystery" venues. A feature of the event is to visit some of the less well known Southport pubs. Some of these venues can be small and have limited access. In some of the smaller venues it can be standing room only. We regret that these events may not be suitable for people with limited mobility.

Children's Comedy Festival

All children must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. No unaccompanied children will be admitted to any of the events.

Age ranges for shows are for guidance only. It is the responsibility of the supervising adult to ensure the show is suitable for the children attending.

Privacy

We reserve the right to take photographs at any of our events and use these images in any appropriate manner for publicity purposes. These photographs may include images of members of our audiences including children.

We will never use your contact details for anything other than to communicate with you about an event or to send you information about other shows or bigcomedyuk events taking place in the area. All email communications will have an unsubscribe link should you no longer wish to receive this information.

We will never give or sell your details to anyone else unless required to by law.
