The Southport Comedy Festival takes place in a luxury marquee in Victoria Park courtesy of Elite Marquees.
This event brought to you by Anthony James Estate Agents is exclusively for NHS and Care Home Staff. When checking in on the night you will be required to show your NHS or Care Home ID. If you have ordered a ticket for your +1 guest who is not NHS or Care Home staff, please ensure they arrive and check in at the same time as you.
If for any reason you are unable to attend the event even at short notice or your party size reduces please get in touch with us via the contact page on our website https://southportcomedyfestival.com/contact-us. As you can imagine this event was very popular. We are operating a waiting list, if you are no longer able to make the event please let us know so that we can allocate your tickets to somebody else.
Entry to the Festival is via the Esplanade Entrance to Victoria Park, PR8 1RX. The pedestrian entrance is by the Splashworld roundabout where Victoria Way and the Esplanade converge. The entry for vehicles and passsengers is opposite Southport Park and Ride. On-site parking site is free of charge for festival ticket holders.
Opening Times and Tickets
The Park will be open to the festival audience from 6pm for food and drink, check out the link for more details on the food offer from local business The Rollin’ Stove https://southportcomedyfestival.com/street-food performances start at 8pm.
The Marquee is fully seated, seating is unreserved. While we are no longer required to socially distance we would like to assure you that where possible seating will be spaced out subject to audience capacity. Stewards will be on hand to assist with your seating arrangements.
Doors open 2 hours before the show, please arrive in plenty of time to avoid long queues. To minimise contact with door staff, we request that all members of your group arrive for check-in together. There is ample space outside of the venue for you to arrange to meet.
Once inside Victoria Park signs will direct you to the Marquee where the performance takes place.
For customers who bought their ticket via Skiddle. Your eticket barcode can be scanned directly from your phone to reduce the need for contact. Tickets are available to download 24 hours before the event. Instructions for downloading the App or obtaining a pdf of your tickets were included in your confirmation email.
For tickets bought through SEE tickets and Ticket Master. We will have a list of customers at the check-in desk. We will need the name of the person who bought the tickets and a copy of your confirmation email as proof of purchase.
You will be given wrist bands to wear to allow re-entry during intervals.
When you bought your tickets from our website you were advised to read about the COVID controls we may need to have in place.
As you are no doubt aware the Government lifted the majority of legal COVID-19 restrictions on Monday 19th July.
We will continue to monitor the Government guidance for entertainment venues and if anything changes it may be necessary to take steps at the time of the Festival to ensure compliance.
At this time facial coverings are not required to be worn in entertainment venues. However, current advice is that people should consider wearing them in crowded places. It is down to individual choice and we would ask that you respect anyone who chooses to wear one and give them space.
Please do not attend if you are suffering any Covid symptoms or have been advised to self-isolate.
