IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ. We have just been made aware of an issue with the show times printed on some downloaded Comedy Festival Tickets purchased online via Skiddle. In some cases the ticket states the Doors time as the actual Start time of the show. Please note this only affects tickets purchased via SKIDDLE. We would hate for you to miss the start of any shows, so please double check to be absolutely sure.

Parking

On-site parking site is free of charge for festival ticket holders. 

Please note : The car park will be closed for entry after 8pm. Latecomers will need to make alternative parking arrangements and use the pedestrian entrance to access the festival site. 

Entry for pedestrians is via the Esplanade Entrance to Victoria Park, PR8 1RX. The Car Park entrance is opposite the Park and Ride on the Esplanade (see map below)

There are a limited number of spaces for Blue Badge holders closer to the venue. These spaces are unreserved and allocated on a first come first served basis. Please show your badge to the car park marshal on arrival and you will be directed to the disabled car park.

Times

The Park will be open to the festival audience 1 hour before each performance start time – SEE THE IMPORTANT NOTE AT THE TOP OF THIS PAGE REGARDING SHOW START TIMES ON SOME TICKETS. PLEASE CHECK THE PUBLISHED TIMES ON THIS WEBSITE SO YOU ARE AWARE OF YOUR PARTICULAR SHOW TIMES. 

Smoking

Smoking or vaping is not permitted at any time inside the venue. 

Food and Drink

Food will be available to purchase pre-show and at the interval. More information is available on our website Food & Drink page leading up to the festival – Click Here. You can also contact us via our website should you need more information.

There be a fully licensed bar courtesy of Elite Events. Snacks and hot drinks are also available from the bar. Please note the bar will be closed during the performance.

Check in

The Southport Comedy Festival takes place in a luxury marquee in Victoria Park courtesy of Elite Events.

The Marquee is fully seated, seating is unreserved. Doors open 1 hour before the show, please arrive in plenty of time to avoid long queues. Where possible all members of your group should arrive for check-in together. There is ample space outside of the venue for you to arrange to meet.

Once inside Victoria Park signs will direct you to the Marquee where the performance takes place.

Before entering the marquee, please have your tickets ready for check in.

Only tickets sold through official channels will be honoured on the night.

For customers who bought their ticket via Skiddle . Your eticket barcode can be scanned directly from your phone. Please download your ticket before the event. Instructions for downloading the App or obtaining a pdf of your tickets were included in your confirmation email from Skiddle.

For tickets bought through Ticket Master or SEE Tickets. We will have a list of customers at the check-in desk. We will need the name of the person who bought the tickets and a copy of your confirmation email as proof of purchase.

Please bring valid ID for entry.

Children and Young People at the Comedy Festival

Where permitted children and young people (under 18) must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult at all times. No unaccompanied children or young people will be admitted to any of the events.

Minimum ages for shows are for guidance only. It is the responsibility of the supervising adult to ensure the show is suitable for the children and young people attending. Shows rated PG may contain strong language and adult content.

We will operate a Challenge Under 25 policy in relation to alcohol sales.

Performance Copyright

It is a condition of entry that ticket holders agree not to photograph, film, record or stream any part of the performance. Anyone found to be doing so will be asked to leave and will not be granted re-entry.
